As a Civil Construction foreman / supervisor, you will be responsible for the construction for the foundation installation of towers and related equipment’s. Read plans and specifications, do site layout, supervise operations of machinery, pour concrete, tie rebar, set forms, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a work team and subcontractors on construction sites for monopole, self-supporting, and guyed towers, providing clear instructions and guidance throughout the process.
- Oversee all general ground tasks related to Civil Construction, site layout, road construction, rebar installation, formwork setup, concrete pouring/vibration/finishing, backfilling and compacting foundations, installation of grounding systems, conduits, and trenches, as well as site restoration and cleanup.
- Organize and plan daily tasks to maximize efficiency and meet set objectives.
- Ensure work is completed according to schedules, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Enforce health and safety policies on-site, identifying and mitigating potential risks while raising team awareness.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth communication and regular project follow-ups.
- Participate in evaluating team members' performance and provide appropriate support and training to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate the supply of materials and equipment needed for the construction sites.
- Prepare regular reports for the project manager on work progress, encountered issues, and corrective measures taken.
- Ensure photographic documentation of the site as it evolves.
- Maintain and keep all provided tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition while complying with regulations and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering technology or a similar qualification.
- Have experience as a foreman, site supervisor, civil engineering technician, quality controller, or in a similar role.
- Experience in the construction sector (formwork, rebar installation, concrete pouring and finishing, as well as general carpentry tasks).
- Good understanding of blueprints, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Team management experience (an asset).
- Compliance with safety standards and knowledge of safety and quality control requirements, including ground disturbances, fall protection, applicable regulations, and procedures for work crews.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be in good physical condition and able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs (22 kg).
- Be available to travel for up to two weeks or more as needed across Canada.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good manual dexterity and efficient use of tools.
- Bilingual (French – English).
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
